THE FIELD NOTEBOOK / TWO MOMENTS
Same place, different day? Open two saved sessions and put their sounds and observations side by side.
Try two invented moments to see how it works. No microphone needed. The pretend budgie is one example; your own sessions can describe other animals, or leave the species unknown. Talk2Nature does not identify animals.

SIDE BY SIDE / DESCRIBE BEFORE EXPLAINING
These numbers describe saved recordings, not animal calls, replies or changes in behavior.
Press Play yourself. Use headphones away from animals.
It can help you recall what you noticed and see which recordings are worth a closer look. An observation is not a translation. A sound after a person’s voice is not evidence of a reply.
Origin, animal context, clock and notes are saved declarations. File checks confirm internal consistency, not identity, consent or scientific validity. Device clocks are not synchronized. Highlights can overlap and omit quieter sounds; their summed audio length is not coverage.
Use original session ZIPs, up to 27 MB each. Repacked archives and Sound desk notebooks are different formats. Open a notebook in Review. Keep your original files: closing or leaving this page forgets the open copies.
